Sara Armour is a NY based comedian, filmmaker, coach, & entrepreneur.
Sara has performed on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, SeeSo's New York's Funniest Competition (finalist), and can be heard telling stories on Dan Savage’s Hot Mic & Sounds Like America on Audible.com. She has been named a breakout artist by Caroline’s on Broadway and is a traveling member of the “Betches of Comedy” tour sponsored by the popular website betcheslovethis.com. Sara's comedy has been written about in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Nylon Magazine, & the Washington Post. She also co-hosts & produces a monthly Full Moon Ritual Comedy Show at Caroline's on Broadway that has been covered by Time Out NY, The NY Post, and Galore Magazine.
Since 2009 Sara has been working as a Development Producer at MRB Films. Aside from cultivating intimate relationships with agencies & organizations, Sara has written & produced a number of commercial productions at MRB, including a Prank PSA for the city of Philadelphia for which she won a Gold Addy Award for writing.
Sara is the founder of Shining Armour Productions where she facilitates a variety of productions, workshops, coaches & collaborates with other talented creatives to transform their stories from dark to the light and communicate them with the world.
Sara graduated from Boston University (COM '08) with a degree in Film & Television and received her coaching certification through Accomplishment Coaching in 2012. She is originally from Montclair, NJ.
